Mindy's food container

I just got a new cartridge Mickey & Friends.  I was dying to make something with it and have been wanting to decorate my dog's food container.  She is a diva and deserves something pretty!!  So this is what I came up with.  I just love the Minnie.  She wasn't as hard as I thought she would be.  Actually I had fun making her.

Recipe:
All cuts are from Mickey & Friends cartridge
Bone with name is cut twice at 6" wide (one with name cut out)
Minnie cut at 3.5"

Here is a picture of Mindy with her newly decorated container.  She loves it!  She was dancing and hopping around it.  She was all excited.

At my grandma's house the games start about 5:00am.  She has been like that my whole life.  She is getting in bad health and I wanted to capture the memories.

My Heros Have Always Been Cowboys #2

I have already made a double layout using these pictures.  Then decided to make this one to hang in my grandson's room.  His room is decorated in Toy Story so this one matches better.  I had so much fun making this.  It was a lot of work, but well worth it...I think anyway  hehehe  TFL

Recipe:
Toy Story cartridge -Bulls Eye the horse= 4", rope frames=6", and of course Woody=5"
Old West- Title=1" and sign=4 1/2"
I embellished rope and sign by using a cotton ball and brown ink pad to give it texture.
I usually pop dot everything but didn't on this layout since it will be in a frame anyway.
Gold stickles for horse shoe on nose and Woody's spurs
White and blue marker pens for eyes

Hand Over the Toys

I got a new Cricut Cartridge "Toy Story" and had to play with it.  Let me tell you it is a difficult cartridge.  It took me over 4 hours to create Wood and Jessie.  I didn't touch the layout again for about 2 weeks.  I dont know but the second page total time was about 2-2 1/2 hours so it wasn't that bad.  There are a lot of intricate pieces.  I learned for the very small pieces to use markers or pens.  I wanted to try this layout first then I have one I want to make my grandson for his walls using it.  That will be my project for this weekend.

Recipe:
All cuts using Toy Story
Woody cut at 6"
Jessie cut at 5"
Army man cut at 2"tall x 4.5"wide
Martians cut at 6"wide x 3.16" tall
Buzz cut at 3"
Slinky cut at 4.5"wide x 3.02" tall
Title cut at 4.5"
