This is a card I made for my Aunt. I used Plantin Schoolbook to cut the flower. Inked around the edges. Added a gromet for added texted and embelishment. (I dont like how it puckered) Very simple card to make.
It is my parents 42nd Anniversary. They really are the perfect pair !! I made this card using the Sweethearts cart. for all cuts. Added the hearts, dots, and snowflake stamps by Stamping by Judith.
This is a card I made for my niece. I used Doodlecharms cartridge for the cupcake. I used clear stamps with ink in her favorite colors. Added a piece of ribbon to accent and pop dots for dimension. I hope she likes it. It was very simple to make. Sorry this picture is too small. I am using photobucket and it is coming out either too small or too large. :-(
I made a matching envelope using a envelope template I got at the Great American Scrapbook Convention I attended this year. I dont remember who it is made by. It really comes in handy when you want to make a matching envelope.
Here is a layout of me training my new colt. I think it looks a little bland. I just didn't know what colors to use. It was for a weekly challenge on the cricut forum. I used Plantin Schoolbook, Old West, and Paperdoll Dress Up.
The subject is my niece's wedding. The colors of the wedding was black, white, and red. It was such a beautiful wedding. The cartridges I used was Sweethearts and Home Decor.
I love doing fall scenes. My dog is my favorite model. She know when I have a camera she needs to be looking pretty !! LOL I used Plantin Schoolbook for the title. I used Home Decor for the scalloped circle. I cheated and used the paperdoll scarecrow and corn that I received from a Paperdoll Swap I was in on the Cricut forum. (Those are really fun to join) Hope you enjoy.
Here is a layout I did of a show in Branson MO. It is called Dixie Stampede. It was so much fun. It is about the Civil War(the Yankee against the Rebels). Anyway I needed to do a two page layout because the pictures were 5X7's I used Wild West Cart. for the title and horses. I cut out the mat and glued down three sides to make the pocket. I had so much memorabilia that I wanted to include that I just had to have a pocket ! LOL
I am addicted to doing swaps on the Cricut forum. Here is a altered mailbox for a swap. You had to alter a mailbox in your partners favorite colors and fill it with goodies. Here is picture of the mailbox with all the goodies I filled it with.
Here is the side view. I painted the mailbox white. I used a very tacky double sided permanent tape on the paper to make it stick to the mail box. I stressed over how to get behind the flag part. I found instructions on youtube. All you do is use a small circle punch where the flag will be, then cut a slit and slide it under the flag. Very simple!! I just tied fibers around the base of the flag.
Here is the newest addition to my scrapbook room. My new Pink Cricut!!! I have wanted one since they came out. I finally caught it on sale at Michael's. I love it!!
Here is something I made to hang my dogs leash and coat on. I made it using a chipboard letter I purchased at Michaels. Applied paper, name, and flower with a decoupage medium. I nailed the little knobs on. I used Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.
This weekend was a wonderful weekend! We got 6 inches of snow. I LOVE snow!! Anyway we played and played in snow. After all was said and done I decided that I would attempt this little book. I have been trying to get myself motivated to do one. I was worried about cutting the paper to fit the book. Guess what....it was easy!! I trimmed my coordinating paper and adhered to the book. I used A Childs Year for the scalloped mats and journaling mats cut at 4 inches. I used Alphalicous for the letters. Buttons and a wired butterfly I have been waiting to use for the front cover. I hope you like it.
Sorry I have posted anything in a while. It has been hectic with the holidays and stuff. Maybe now I can get back into full swing. This is a project I have been working on from the Cricut forum. It is an address book swap. I love signing up for these swaps. Not only are they fun, but you learn from other's creations. I used zebra paper and hot pink glitter paper for the embellishments. I used Wild West cartridge for the font. I used Doodlecharm cartridge for the flowers and dragonflies. I used the George & Basic shapes cartridge for the tag. Thank you for taking a look.
I went with the zebra paper and hot pink glitter embellishments. I used the Wild West cricut cartridge for the font. I used Doodle Charms for the flowers and dragonflies. I used George cartridge for the tag.
